Prescription Refills (Medications and/or RX Food)
NOW is the time to ensure your prescriptions are refilled for the long-term so you do not run out of your pet(s) medications.
- BEST OPTION: Clients with pets on long-term meds are strongly encouraged to fill your RX at the Page Animal Hospital Online Store and to set up auto-ship. Access to the Page Animal Hospital online store is via the website: https://pageanimalhospital.com/
BENEFIT: It avoids the need for ongoing RX approval until the RX on file expires, giving
some breathing room until you identify a new veterinary service for your pet(s).
- Alternative Option: Collect a paper RX from Page Animal Hospital and have it filled by a local pharmacy.
LESS THAN IDEAL OPTION: You may run out of your limited number of refills before you have identified a new veterinary service, leaving your pets without necessary medications.
- Failure to obtain RX for long-term meds before PAH closes: BY LAWyou will need to make an appointment with a doctor at a veterinary hospital of your choice – even if you only saw Dr. Roundtree weeks prior.
